National Talent Search Examination is organized by NCERT. Candidates must pass NTSE Exam to became eligible for scholarship program which is conducted by National Council Education Research and Training. NCERT declare a merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidate performance and qualification in NTSE Examination. NTSE Exam is will be done in two stages MAT and SAT. Candidates who qualify Mat are appeared and eligible for SAT. First stage will be held in November, 2016 and second Stage will be conducted in May, 2017. Candidates be prepared for your upcoming MAT Examination you have three months to be prepared for NTSE Exam 2016. NTSE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
All students appearing in 10th class are eligible for NTSE Exam. Students studying in any state affiliated 10th class are eligible for appear in NTSE Exam. There is not any caste restriction so all candidates are eligible and they can apply through official web link of NCERT. Students can apply online for stage I and Stage II same procedure to apply. Students who apply to register themselves for Open Distance Learning are also eligible to appear in NTSE exam. NCERT invites application form for all those candidates appear in 10th class for first time. Candidates appear for second time in 10th class is not eligible for NTSE 2017.
All candidates appear in 10th class and below 18yrs are eligible for NTSE Exam.
NTSE (Stage 1 & 2) Exam Selection Proces

NTSE Examination will be done in two Phases these are as follows
Phase I: – NTSE Phase I is conducted by State, so all candidates from state can apply for this phase I. Generally Phase I examination is conduct in November month. Phase I Exam is also known as Mental Ability Test. Students for your kind information it is necessary to qualify Phase I to appear in Phase II.
Phase II: – NTSE Phase II is conducted by NCERT and its national level examination. All candidates who qualify Phase I are attempt to appear in Phase II. In this examination candidates can apply from all over India. Generally Phase II exam is known as Scholastic Aptitude Test will be conducted in May 2017.
